I really like the print designs, such as magazines and books. It is always a challenge to put pertinent information in one page without cluttering the space and, at the same time, making it interesting to the reader. I spent a lot of my time searching and studying layouts, so that, the words can communicate a feeling. That’s the Editorial Design for me; it is an expression placed on paper.
I founded a Nicaraguan music-culture magazine; NOISE magazine. It projected showcase photography, music and culture of the regional locations. My key responsibilities & skills applied in this role included: Creative Direction, Editorial Design, Photography & Writing Articles. I worked in a variety of projects, such as, illustration and design of a child’s book “El Castillo de Cianferedin”, the design of the last book of the writer Guillermo Rothschuh “Esto es Chontales”, the magazine of IAS and, other personal projects.
